Man about town

Dylan's been very busy lately.  We've started to emerge from our hibernation and started seeing some friends, meeting some new ones and trying some new things.

He's had visits from a few new friends...

He's now been to his parents' favorite restaurant...twice.

We've been having fun together at several classes as well, including Stroller Strides, yoga and Mommy-and-me classes.

He's been relaxing by watching some sports at home with dad.

Dylan insisted that we go out to watch the LA Kings in the Stanley Cup, so we went to Rock 'n' Brews, where we were able to take his picture with an homage to another famous Dylan.

We went to an outdoor street fair in Hermosa Beach, where Dylan took in his first Springsteen cover band.

And he finally stayed awake for a walk on the Strand!  He's been very busy! :)

Two months old!

Heartbreaker

Dylan's been smiling a lot lately, which totally melts our hearts (and quickly makes us forget that he was up half the night)!

Doesn't it look like Dylan is going to work with Daddy in this last one?  They're both in their pinstripes :)

Stretching

Dylan's favorite activity is stretching.  He can easily spend five or ten minutes post-nap or post-meal streeeeeetching out all his limbs.  I am still trying to capture a good video because the accompanying grunting is pretty priceless, but in the meantime, here are some pics...

Growing up

Dylan has already gone through so many changes in his six short weeks...it's almost like he's a teenager already!

He gets in his daily workouts in his activity gym.

He already looks at his mom like she's crazy.

And the same with his dad.

He's gone from his bassinet to (sometimes) sleeping in his big boy bed.

And on very special occasions, in an even bigger boy bed.

He figuring out this whole "smiling" thing.

His face has started to fill out a little.

And he's already teaching his dad new songs.

Time is flying by!
