Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas! Dylan took his first trip to Cincinnati, and we spent Christmas with all of the Wiethes.
Dylan felt right at home! Grandpa had set up a little nursery for him, and he ate his meals in the vintage family high chair (I don't think that Jason used it, but his cousin Josh definitely did!).

Dylan got to take his new (borrowed) snowsuit for a spin a couple times. The first was on his first trip to a zoo. Our first night there, we went to the Cincinnati Zoo for the festival of lights (and he finally got to see a real version of one of his favorite toys -- Sophie the Giraffe).
On Christmas Eve, we went to the Cincinnati Museum Center to see the holiday train display. Although Dylan thought the trains were pretty cool, the highlight of the trip for him was an accordion player who was playing some old favorites for the kids. We need to get this kid into some music classes!
Dylan participated in the annual tradition of decorating the Christmas tree before we went to Aunt Lynne's for Christmas Eve dinner.
And the next morning was Dylan's first Christmas! It was so fun to open gifts with his cousins -- and Dylan got quite a haul! He's been playing with his new stuff ever since.
We had some excitement the day after Christmas...Dylan's first snowfall! We bundled him up and took him out. What do you think? It looks like we have to toughen this California boy up a bit. He was not very amused!
We took a trip to Leah's fabulous toy store, which was like Candyland to Dylan :)
And we spent the last few days kicking around the house, hanging out with grandpa and grandma and the cousins. And we spent our last night at Chris and Leah's house, where Dylan bonded with Rosie, the sweetest dog that I've ever met.
We had a wonderful time! I hope everyone else had a very happy holiday as well!
