Din and Eena

Lina is now a force to be reckoned with - walking, "talking," playing. She is opinionated and very vocal about her opinions! On the one hand, I think that Dylan has been enjoying having a playmate living in the house, but on the other, it's been tough for him to constantly have to share everything. He'll go from sweet one minute -- patiently showing Lina how to come down the stairs on her own -- to aggressive the next minute -- forcefully grabbing away any object she tries to hold, while pushing her to the ground. All normal stuff, but interesting to watch the dynamic.

Dylan is also speaking so well these days. The other day at breakfast he said "Good job eating, Eena. Mama, Eena is eating so well." I don't know why that cracked me up. He's also getting pretty sneaky when he wants something. Recently he told me "I have a little tiny sore throat. I'd like some tea for my sore throat." I was surprised, but thought it was cute, so I made him a cup of tea. After I gave it to him, the real reason for the tea came up: "I'd like a graham cracker with my tea. I need to do dippo dippo." Wily.

And as I mentioned, Lina is growing up quickly too. She's becoming a fruit fiend (like her brother), has some adorable dance moves (that mainly involve stomping her right foot), keeps up with a lot of the bigger kids at the park, and has a totally infectious laugh.
